Safety by construction

Water on both sides, current in the middle

The S20 splits into two chambers. The left holds filtered water; the right holds water drawn from it. Every circuit, motor and control chip sits in a sealed bay between them, so the water path and the live path never share a surface. That is a physical separation rather than a promise about insulation — the point that matters most in a product designed to sit on the floor with water in it.

Two pumps are what keep the stream steady at low pressure, circulating water the way a stream moves instead of blasting it through a single impeller. The surface stays calmer, which pets approach more readily, and daily water use falls by up to 30%.

Everything needed on day one

Two filters are included, which covers roughly the first one to two months of normal use.

Main unit

Fountain base with the pump, battery and UV-C module pre-installed. Nothing to assemble.

Stainless steel top cover

Removable 304 steel drinking surface. Dishwasher-friendly and resistant to scratching.

Two filter cartridges

10-layer composite filters, each rated for 1,000 L and recommended for replacement every two to four weeks.

Hardware is identical across both finishes — only the housing colour differs. Pink, blue and yellow housings are produced to order for volume and private-label customers.

The details you only notice after a month

None of these appear on a specification sheet, and all of them decide whether the fountain is still being used six months from now.

Weighted, hard to tip

The centre of mass sits low and the footprint is wide enough that a cat landing on the rim or a dog nudging it does not put 3.25 L of water on the floor.

Sloped, self-rinsing tray

The drinking tray falls away from the spout, so circulating water sweeps the surface continuously and carries loose hair back toward the filter instead of leaving it in the bowl.

Two lifting handles

A silicone grip lifts the drinking tray out for rinsing, and a concealed handle lets you carry the full 3.25 L tank to the tap without dismantling anything.

Battery indicator panel

A display on the housing reports charge at a glance: the indicator flashes red once the battery drops below 15%, and shows steady green when fully charged.

Keep it running

Filter cartridges

Each cartridge is rated to treat 1,000 L (264 gal) and is recommended for replacement every two to four weeks. The only part that needs regular replacement — ordering in multipacks works out cheaper per cartridge.

Single cartridge

One replacement filter. Press the release, pull the old cartridge out and push the new one in — about five seconds, no tools, no moving the fountain and no wet hands.

3-pack

Roughly six to twelve weeks of coverage. Better value per cartridge than buying singly.

6-pack

Roughly three to six months of coverage. Best value for multi-pet households and for stockists holding spares on the shelf.

Genuine cartridges only. Third-party filters vary widely in media density and can bypass the 0.1-micron rating. Replacement cartridges are available directly from GFBGFB and through authorised resellers.

One fountain, most households

Cats

Cats are notoriously reluctant to drink from still water, which is a common cause of urinary problems. A moving surface plus a quiet pump encourages intake without startling them.

Small dogs

The 3.25 L reservoir and height-adjustable flow suit cats and small breeds without the bowl being emptied twice a day. For medium or large dogs we recommend a higher-capacity fountain.

Multi-pet homes

One reservoir serves several animals, and the radar sensor means the fountain only runs when someone is actually drinking.
